The quiet side of Hermès

Rain covers, cadenas and change trays are the pieces Hermès owners buy for themselves rather than for show. They rarely appear outside Japan, where boutique clients kept them boxed, and they are the practical way to protect a bag that costs many times more.

Are these authentic?

Every piece is sourced through Japan’s licensed secondhand market, where dealers inspect and authenticate goods before they change hands. We are a pre-owned reseller and are not affiliated with the brands. If you would like a closer look at a date code, stamp or hallmark before buying, message us and we will send extra photos.

What do the condition ranks mean?

Every listing carries a rank: A unused or like new, AB excellent with light signs of use, B good with visible signs of use, C fair with heavier wear. The photos show the actual piece, and a ruler is included for scale where size matters.
